What is Applied Kinesiology?

Applied Kinesiology

A healthy body requires healthy organs

Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a chiropractic technique focused on helping people regain optimal health and optimal organ function. Dr. Ray explains AK using its two fundamental concepts:

-The muscle-organ relationship

The muscle-organ relationship describes the connection which exists between various specific skeletal muscles and the body’s main internal organs. When an organ is unhealthy, the muscle(s) associated with that organ will become weaker. Your nervous system monitors and helps co-ordinate the body’s interactions so as a Chiropractor and skilled AK practitioner Dr Ray is able to assess these key muscles to obtain an understanding of your body’s internal organ status. He will also be able to use this same relationship to determine the required intervention or remedy towards optimal health.

-The triangle of health

The triangle of health is a concept which describes the three main causes of poor health.

Structure, biochemistry and emotions make up the three sides of this triangle. Most AK treatments therefore involve chiropractic structural adjustments, biochemical assessment and supplementation to correct. Other factors include hormone levels, nutritional deficiencies, toxicity and infections and emotional counselling.
