Meet Dr Warren Genders (Chiropractor)

Rethinking the Meaning of Health

Dr Warren Genders

Dr Warren has been a chiropractic patient since the age of 14 after his parents took him to see a chiropractor after a motorcycle crash. He has received regular chiropractic ever since.

Later when he was about 29, Dr Warren’s wife developed cancer. His two children were young at the time, and his wife’s diagnosis made him start to re-evaluate his life and career choices. He’d been to a chiropractor almost his whole adult life and was attracted to the natural approach to healing from injury.

So in 2005 he enrolled in a degree in Anatomy and Neuroscience at UWA as a pre-cursor to studying a Masters degree in Chiropractic at Macquarie  University in Sydney.

Fascinated by Chiropractic’s Healing

Dr Warren became a chiropractor at age 40 and enjoyed the learning experience and studying subjects such as anatomy, radiology and neurology as a mature aged student.

Dr Warren was honoured as Graduate of the Year (Dux) when he completed his chiropractic studies, and has done some guest lecturing in the chiropractic course at Murdoch University here in Perth. Dr Warren found his schooling to be a fascinating experience and continues to love what he does to this day.

I’m committed to helping as many people as I can. We’re here to listen, guide you and let you heal at your own pace. We support you, whatever state your health is in.”

Special Interest

Dr Warren has a special interest in neurology and particularly Neuro-rehabilitation which is the science of neuro-plasticity and how the brain can change in function with stimulation. He has a degree in Anatomy and Neuroscience (UWA) and has completed post graduate studies in functional neurology.

He enjoys working with administration and working to look after the chiropractic profession when he’s not in the practice.

He also uses his spare time to read on neurology and other health topics. He was a tradesman before he was a chiropractor and takes on projects such as renovating his home and looking after his garden.
