My First-Hand Experience With Rehabilitation And Chiropractic

Dr Jamie’s introduction to Chiropractic followed an injury while playing ice hockey in Canada. After trying various rehabilitation modalities, he found his injury, and his whole body, responded well to the treatment from the Sports Chiropractor. Jamie wants to be able to help others who have found themselves injured, whether it be from sport or an accident, and give them a direction to help themselves towards better health, better movement, injury prevention and to reach their full potential.

While playing ice hockey at a National level it was inevitable that I would see players, and personally experience, the suffering of injuries and long rehab regimes. I found that those who had followed a Chiropractic rehabilitation program had great results in returning to sport and even more exciting to me, was the stability and strength gained to prevent further issues.

My belief is that pre-hab is the best way to gain a pain free and enjoyable daily life! Followed by rehabilitation and good maintenance to keep the body agile and moving well. I treat a variety of conditions, restricted mobility dysfunctions and varied sporting injuries.

Chiropractic for peak performance

Currently working closely with gyms, trainers, and sporting clinics, throughout Perth and within my Joondalup and surrounding community, allows me to help and guide young upcoming sports stars to reach their potential.

Although I am personally fully immersed in the local sports community, a large number of my clients are just seeking to be fit and healthy. Improved mobility, reduced inflammation and pain relief are key issues I focus on during their care with me.

Peak performance to me is being your best self, best parent regardless of sleep deficiency (been there!), smashing your goals at work and life. Being your best, becoming your best, and stretching those boundaries to make it!

Outside The Clinic

Most of my time is spent improving my Chiropractic knowledge and skills to best help those people with back pain, leg pain, hip pain, bursitis, knee injuries, sprained and dislocated joints to name a few. Involving myself in Sports rehabilitation technique training and programs here in Perth. If I am not in clinic or playing Ice Hockey I am hunting down the best coffee or being active in a park somewhere with my daughter who brings out my best self!
